PhD's and Postdocs are the working horses in Science at UZH. That is why it is interesting to get to know those people behind the desks and in the labs. Since UZH is a normative system and science is global and competitive, there is some friction on the personal level and it is important to learn about how it feels to spend years on our campus, in the research and employer settings. Motivation, results and relationships form the "Researchers Experiences UZH".
Our workshop is about sharing the experience and contributing to a evolution of our research settings. Participants share a short narrative that leads to a array of different experiences that gives the material to discuss how a process needs to be set up to induce an improved experience for the cohorts to come.
